Your application must be submitted to NSERC before 8:00 pm (ET) on the deadline date. If the deadline falls on a weekend or on a federal holiday, your application must be submitted before 8:00 pm (ET) the following business day. Most institutions also have internal deadlines; contact your faculty of graduate studies (or its equivalent) to confirm the deadlines. An institution’s deadline is often significantly earlier than the agency’s deadline. Applications must be complete and meet all the eligibility criteria to be considered. Late applications will not be accepted.
