Launch of 2026 Dimensions Canada grants – second call for proposals

The Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) is pleased to announce the second call  for proposals for the Dimensions Canada grants, open to Canadian postsecondary institutions.

The Dimensions Canada grants aim to strengthen Canada’s research ecosystem by promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) through collaboration and knowledge sharing. Grounded in an inclusive assessment framework that prioritizes the voices of equity-deserving groups, mutuality, co-operation, and context-specific evidence, the grants support institutions in building EDI capacity and developing tools and resources to maximize impact across the research community.

The grants are part of the Dimensions program, which is administered by NSERC, in collaboration with the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC).
